Learn why you should post the pet you have found here.

We will collect some information on you and the pet you have found on the following 4 screens. You can maximise the chances of successfully reuniting this pet with its owner safely by following the simple guidelines below.

Please Note: If you are listing a dog, please read this short blog post on the topic of Irish dog pounds before you do so.

  • Please ensure you have checked that this pet has not already been registered as lost before creating your listing.
  • Answer all questions as accurately as possible.
  • Do not divulge any more specific information than asked at this point. Your may be able to use more specific details to verify the pet's ownership so it is better that those are not in the public domain. Some unscrupulous indiiduals may try to use any extra information you post here to claim this pet.
  • To maximise the visibility of this pet, we recommend that you upload a photo (preferably not one taken with a phone - they don't scale well). If you opt to do so, please choose it carefully to maximise your privacy and the pet's safety.
